kvClosure provides comprehensive inspection of finished leaflets and booklets. The length and width of the product are precisely measured, while skew and paper overhang are reliably detected. In addition, the folding is inspected from the side by measuring the height and width of the folded product.
The closure label is also inspected in detail. In addition to its dimensions, its position relative to the product and any lateral overhang are measured. The permissible tolerances can be flexibly adjusted to individual customer requirements, enabling deviations to be detected at an early stage and consistently high product quality to be maintained.

kvClosure was designed for simple and efficient operation. New products can be set up within a very short time, minimizing production downtime.
Thanks to intelligent teach-in algorithms, the system automatically configures the required inspection areas and provides the operator with optimal support during setup.
Automatically generated inspection reports also provide complete documentation of inspection results, making them easy to track and archive.
Expansion options
One solution for the entire production line
If required, kvClosure can be expanded with a kvInspect module installed on an upstream (folding) machine. This allows additional quality characteristics to be inspected during production and prevents product mix-ups. The system can also control two separate reject gates.
Both systems work seamlessly together to form a single inspection solution for the entire production line. The result: one inspection system, one central user interface and one combined inspection report containing all inspection results for the respective production line.
